OUR MINISTRIES
The main task of preaching, and the main purpose of small groups, and all the ministries of the church is to help people see the greatness of what Christ has purchased for everyone who will value it above the world. Helping people see it and savor it, so that God’s superior worth shines in their satisfaction, and in the sacrifices that come from such a heart.
Prayer
SRMBCA exists to equip members and to become a House of Prayer for all in need of prayer, releasing God’s power for revival. We work to transform lives by teaching prayer. We hope our bible study sessions will encourage and help you to go deeper into your connection with Jesus Christ through prayer.
Elders / Seniors
Senior Saints Ministry is the jewel of our ministry. We strive to promote the discipleship, fellowship, worship and service of members 60 years and above within the church.
Sunday school
Paul tells us in his second epistle to Timothy,
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:15-17) Sunday School holds a vital role at SRMBCA. The major purpose of our Sunday school is to help men, women, boys and girls study God's word, the bible apply its life guiding principles.
Youth
SRMBCA has an innovative, and energetic youth ministry who‘s main objective and focus is to become disciples of Christ. Our youth ministry is comprised of children of all ages.
Music
Music Ministry serves the purposes of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encouraging believers in their walk with Christ, leading the congregation in worship and providing an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship experience. The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through musical expressions.
Community service
Our community Service ministry sets the tone and atmosphere at the doors and on the floor that represents the vision of this church to impact the people that come to and are served by SRMBCA members in a way that will bring salvation, hope, and revitalization to expand the kingdom of God.
Facebook/Youtube Ministry
Our Facebook Ministry shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ to online seekers in a real time with our Sunday morning live sermon broadcast via our Facebook page at (www.facebook.com/SRMBCofAustin). It is an online connection for the word, biblical direction, prayer and encouragement. By providing ministry in this way, we are ready and available to offer the love and hope of Jesus Christ, and a deeper understanding of a relationship with Christ to anyone who is seeking.
