OUR CHURCH
The Mission of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church of Austin is to guide generations to become passionate followers of Jesus Christ one soul at a time. Our mission is carried out through strategies that manifest the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20. "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I commanded you." These core strategies reflects the underlying values that reflect the uniqueness of the Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church of Austin family.
We therefore engage, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love with an unwavering devotion to teaching the whole counsel of God's word, coupled with a desire to show the same unconditional love to others that Christ showed to us and to promote prosperity, spirituality and the spread of the gospel through all nations.
We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly and sisterly love; to remember one another in prayer; to aid one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and Christian courtesy. We trust with compassion and pray with expectation.
